VISION/MISSION

Vision:  Project U.N.I.Q.U.E. will provide customized, standards-based, arts-in-education programs to meet the needs of students and educators in metropolitan Rochester, New York.

Mission:  To serve in a leadership capacity to develop, implement, and expand arts-in-education programs that promote teaching/learning and creativity in a culturally diverse community.  Its goals are to:

• Involve students in the concepts, processes, and techniques of the various arts disciplines to build an understanding and appreciation of the arts.
• Explore the relationship of the arts to other areas of the instructional program and illustrate the viability of the arts as an integral part of the learning process.
• Provide innovative professional development opportunities for educators.
• Stimulate lifelong interest and opportunities for learning and enjoyment through the arts.
